North Central Outpost — Terms & Conditions / Rental & Checkout Policy
1. General Information
North Central Outpost (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides outdoor rental equipment and related gear for ice fishing and all-season use throughout Minnesota.
By completing a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully before submitting payment.
2. Rental Agreement
By renting equipment or making a booking through our website, phone, or in person, you agree:
You are at least 13 years of age and if under the age of 18, you have been given permission by a parent or guardian to access this website or legally able to enter into this agreement.
You assume full responsibility for the care, use, and return of all rented equipment during your rental period.
You understand that ice fishing and outdoor activities involve natural risks, and you participate at your own risk.
3. Payment & Deposits
Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
Some rentals may require a security deposit, which will be refunded after equipment is returned in clean, undamaged condition.
Accepted payment methods: credit/debit cards (processed securely through Square or Wix Payments).
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations 7 days or more before your scheduled pickup or delivery: 50% refund or able to be rescheduled based on availability
Cancellations within 7 days or less: No Refunds
No-shows : No Refund
North Central Outpost reserves the right to cancel rentals due to unsafe ice, weather, or equipment failure — in these cases, a refund or reschedule will be offered.
Cancellation request MUST be received in a writing via email and will be assessed per situation
5. Equipment Use & Responsibility
Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
The renter is responsible for loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear and tear.
The renter agrees to pay repair or replacement costs for any damaged, lost, or stolen equipment.
Equipment must be returned clean and in working order by the agreed-upon time.
6. Liability Waiver
By renting from North Central Outpost, you acknowledge that ice fishing, outdoor recreation, and related activities involve risks including (but not limited to) changing weather, ice conditions, and natural hazards.
You agree to hold harmless and indemnity North Central Outpost, its owners, and staff from any claims, damages, injuries, or losses incurred during your rental period.
7. Weather & Ice Safety
Renters are responsible for verifying safe ice thickness and weather conditions before use.
Refunds will be issued if conditions are deemed unsafe by North Central Outpost staff prior to rental.
8. Late Returns & Fees
Late returns will incur an additional $25 per hour or daily rental rate, whichever is greater. Based off of situation on hand.
If equipment is not returned within 24 hours of the due time, the renter may be charged the full replacement value.
9. Delivery & Pickup
Delivery services (if available) must be arranged in advance and may incur an additional fee depending on distance.
Renters are responsible for being present during scheduled delivery/pickup times.
10. Privacy & Contact Information
All customer information is kept private and used only for rental processing, communication, and safety purposes.

11. Agreement
By submitting payment and confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined above.
12. Terms & conditions Updates
North Central outpost may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "effected date"
